What we do.
Our name is based on the Japanese word, ‘futari’, which means ‘two people’. We believe in building strong relationships and working with you to create a home that fits your lifestyle. A home with balance, rhythm and harmony.
We offer a complete end to end service including interior design and planning, selecting fixtures and finishes and styling furnishings and accessories to create beautiful, liveable spaces.
Working with you to develop your ideas, we deliver unique solutions that save you time and money. We also offer the services of our group of craftsmen, contractors, specialists and suppliers.
Futari Design projects have been featured in publications like Queensland Homes and Australian Home Beautiful and our team is highly regarded within the industry. Our director’s distinctive insights and observations are showcased in online forums such as ‘Home at Yellow’.
Our work was recognised and celebrated by our peers in the 2015 Housing Industry Australia Awards, winning the Brisbane Residential Interior Decorate category and becoming a finalist in the Queensland Residential Interior Design category. We also recently won the Best Design 2016 category for Houzz.
We care about the places in which you live, work and play and as designers, we believe it’s our responsibility to help you make careful decisions when planning a renovation or new build.
