Futari Design was engaged to re-design the internal floor plan to better suit the needs of this family. A full re-design was required considering both functional needs and aesthetic preferences. After new drawings were produced and approved by the client, Futari went on to project manage the contracting team—as we often do on these types of projects.
The project included new cabinetry design for the kitchen, bifold windows onto the entertainment area, laundry, media room, office, both bathrooms and an internal open stairwell to brighten up the space. Full interior specifications including colour scheme was changed throughout, light fittings were replaced and new flooring installed. A selection of new furniture, artwork and accessories were also commissioned to work back with the family’s existing pieces.
