The client brief was simple: to create an open, relaxed, child-friendly home, styled and ready to move into. However, our challenge was to deliver this in just six weeks.
The client had only seen the property once and lived overseas, so all correspondence and communication was undertaken by email and Skype. We fitted out the entire home to the client’s style and taste with furnishings, appliances, artwork and accessories in a colour palette that included gentle reference to the ocean.
When the clients saw their home for the very first time, with suitcases in tow, they were over the moon. This project won the HIA Queensland Chapter Residential Interior Decorate category for design and budget.
